Up to 40% of food in the United States is wasted, and yet over 42 million Americans live in food insecure households.  With such mindblowing numbers, what can individuals do to reduce food waste and ensure that people who need food get it?

Join USU Alternative Breaks as we learn how organizations in Portland, OR tackle issues surrounding food waste and hunger in innovative ways.

For those who apply by January 25, payment will be due February 8 and will include the $25 discount.  After January 25, if there is still room on the trip, students may continue to apply.  Payment for late applications will be due by February 22.
