COVID-19 Update: 3/27/20

In taking precautionary measures in preventing the spread of the coronavirus, most Service Center programs and events have been canceled. The Student Nutrition Access Center (SNAC), Campus Kitchen, and the Food Recovery Network are still in operation taking the following precautions:

Campus Kitchen and Food Recovery Network

Volunteers are required to be in good health and continue to follow the same food safety guidelines that have always been expected of them. Recovered food is now individually bagged instead of held in bulk bins or display cases.

SNAC: USU Food Pantry

Only one SNAC patron will be allowed in the pantry space at a time, patrons are asked to sanitize their hands and/or us provided disposable gloves to access the pantry, and to take the food they touch.

In addition to adhering to the food safety standards already in place, SNAC voulneteers are required to deep clean at the beginning and end of every shift and to sanitize any canned food or packages that don’t come wrapped in a manufacturer’s wrapping.

In addition, there are new parking options for SNAC patrons, as well as an online ordering system with delivery. See the SNAC Info page for details.

SNAC hours are Tuesday through Thursday 1-5 PM. Visit for more information.
